Good thinking about bikes

Give those Midwest folks credit -- they're really thinking about what they say. Found these four excellent public service announcements today, and I love 'em.

As explained by Patti Vinyard, of the sponsoring St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation, they avoid the trap of "share the road" signs and messages, which have a hidden suggestion either that bicycling is inherently dangerous or that roads belong only to motorists.

That is darn good thinking. Where are PSA's run anymore, though?

The licensed TV and Radio stations don't run them anymore because the FCC doesn't care. The cable company here moved the "government" channels to obscure digital space in the 300's.

Does it pay to make PSA's anymore?
