Bikes need a place to park

As South Florida's Bike to Work Week approaches, those of us who aren't already commuting by bike may be wondering where to store our ride from 9 to 5 or whatever hours apply. For many people in this car-centric culture, the best solution may be to roll the wheels into shop or office until quitting time. Gina Morey explores the quandry at Bicycle Fixation.

By the way, have you made your Bike to Work Pledge?

I used to bike to work; I live in the Gables, and I worked less than a mile away. I still take my bike to run errands.
But riding my bike to Fort Lauderdale is simply too daunting. I am, however, taking TriRail. A trip that costs $8 to drive costs $4.50 by train and an extra half hour on each end.
I'd take my bike up and ride from the station to the office, but riding a bike on Broward Blvd over I-95 is simply too stupidly dangerous. BTDT.
