Anti-bike engineer to run FDOT
Gov. Rick Scott appointed Ananth Prasad yesterday to head the Florida Department of Transportation. Prasad is the career engineer who told a congressional committee last month that plans for bike lanes and sidewalks should be shelved in these hard times.
