Park buys bike for maintenance staff
Miami's Bayfront Park has acquired a pedal-powered truck for maintenance crews to get around the downtown oasis without burning motor fuel. A wooden dump bed was mounted on a pedicab frame and the builder, Convenient Canvassing, estimates it will handle a 600-pound cargo. It's "a good investment in the future," said Miami City Commissioner Frank Carollo, chairman of the Bayfront Park Management Trust.
